Italian luxury boatbuilder Bellini Yacht has taken a significant step forward in its industrial ambitions, signing a commercial lease on a new facility in Capriolo, in the province of Brescia. The move adds approximately 4,350 square metres to the group’s operational estate, bringing the total space available to Gruppo Bellini to nearly 20,000 square metres — a milestone that reflects just how swiftly this once-boutique marque is scaling up. The new facility provides the perfect foundation for further growth of the ASTOR range.
A Strategic Bet on Luxury Boatbuilding – Growth of The ASTOR Range
The new site will be used exclusively as a shipyard, dedicated to supporting the full expansion of the ASTOR range — the flagship product line that Bellini Yacht has been developing since its founding in 2023. The first model in that range, the Astor 36, came to market in 2024, and the ambition is clear: to grow a production portfolio that stretches up to 24 metres in length, in collaboration with renowned designers Brunello Acampora and Norberto Ferretti.
The facility is being conceived as far more than additional square footage. Plans call for dedicated production and assembly areas, modern technical and management offices, and — perhaps most tellingly — exclusive customer experience spaces. These will be reserved for private consultations, bespoke configuration sessions, and the presentation of materials and finishes. It is, in other words, a place designed not just to build boats, but to sell a lifestyle.
Efficiency, Scalability, and the Long Game
From an operational standpoint, the expansion is underpinned by a logic of industrial scalability. As production volumes grow, the integrated workflow across the new and existing sites is expected to generate meaningful leverage on fixed costs — a critical factor for any manufacturer seeking to improve margins whilst maintaining the quality standards that luxury buyers demand.
The lease runs for six years from this month through to 31 January 2032, with an option to renew for a further six years. Bellini Yacht has also secured a right of first refusal should the landlord decide to sell the property — a sensible piece of strategic flexibility that could one day give the company outright ownership of a key production asset.

Battista Bellini, CEO of Bellini Nautica, was direct about what the move represents for the brand. The new facility, he explained, is not simply an enlargement of existing capacity, but a strategic investment in both industrial capability and brand positioning. His goal is to create an integrated hub where design, construction, and the customer experience coexist under one roof — a model that mirrors what the finest names in automotive and aviation have long understood: that the environment in which a luxury product is delivered is inseparable from the product itself.
A Company on the Rise

Founded in 1967 on the shores of Lake Iseo, the group encompasses not only boat production but also the trading of new and used vessels, the restoration and sale of Vintage Riva craft, and a range of ancillary services including mooring, mechanical assistance, refitting, and even guided boat experiences on the lake.
The Bellini Yacht subsidiary sits at the premium end of this portfolio, and this latest investment signals that the group intends to cement that position over the medium to long term.
